Cavendish banana is the world’s most popular banana variety, harvested green and ripening to a bright yellow color, with a mildly sweet flavor. It is rich in potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and fiber. In Vietnam, it is mainly grown in Dong Nai, Long An, Tay Ninh, and parts of the Mekong Delta, with strong exports to China, South Korea, Japan, and the Middle East.
